Tiffany Gray is excited to be the Director of the LGBT Resource Center and is coming from Seattle University where she worked as the Director of the Office of Multicultural Affairs. Prior to working at Seattle University, Tiffany served as the Associate Director of the LGBT Resource Center at Syracuse University and is very excited to be back! Previously, Tiffany also held a variety of professional positions in Residential Life.
As the Director of the LGBT RC, Tiffany is integral in establishing the overarching vision and mission for the LGBT Resource Center. Tiffany supervises the LGBT Resource Center staff and works collaboratively to plan, facilitate and implement annual events such as: LGBTQA Welcome Social, Coming Out Month, Creating Change Conference participation, Trans Day of Liberation, and the Rainbow Banquet. In addition, Tiffany facilitates educational presentations and trainings including Basics, Safer People, Safer Spaces and other Social Justice related workshops; facilitates Fusion, a discussion group for LGBTQA students of color; collaborates in a variety of ways with campus/community partners; and serves on various divisional and campus wide committees.
Tiffany has experience teaching a leadership course and facilitating trainings and workshops that integrate a Social Justice Framework. Tiffany’s continued areas of interest include identity development of LGBTQ students of color, leadership development and mentorship for LGBTQ students, creating and sustaining allyship, and exploring liberatory frameworks.
Tiffany received her BA in Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice from The University of Toledo. Tiffany then received her MS in Education with an emphasis in College Student Personnel from The University of Dayton.
When Tiffany (or TGray) is not working, she enjoys listening to music, attending a concert, catching up on a tv show, spending time with friends, and traveling. Please stop by and say hello!
