The LGBT Resource Center sponsors a number of discussion groups to connect LGBTQA students, to enhance dialogue, and to further explore issues relevant and important to members of the LGBTQA community.

Let's Be Queer: A Queer Women's Discussion Group is a place for those who are woman-identified to come together to discuss issues relevant to the intersection of being queer and women. Co-facilitated by Lauren Adamski (lbadamsk@syr.edu) and Lindsay Ferguson (lgfergus@syr.edu). Meetings occur every other Tuesday at 6:00 PM at the LGBT Resource Center. Spring 2013 dates include: February 5 & 19, March 5 & 26, April 9. |

Cross Q: Connecting Allies Across Identities is a discussion group where students, staff and faculty can engage in conversations around marginalized genders and sexualities while addressing intersections of other social identities. Cross Q meets every other Thursday at 6 PM at the LGBT Resource Center. Spring 2013 dates include: February 7 & 21, March 7 & 28, April 11.
