CNY Pride Family Photo Shoot
Light Work/Community Darkrooms and the LGBT Resource Center at Syracuse University are sponsoring another photo shoot for the "CNY Pride Family Photo Shoot".

Local photographer Ellen Blalock, inspired by the Family Diversity Projects' Love Makes a Family exhibition, is spearheading a local project aimed at giving visibility to the LGBT & Queer families living in the Central New York area. As part of this project Syracuse University’s LGBT Resource Center will house a set of these photographs, and encourage the community to enjoy and celebrate in the diversity located here in the Central New York region. Participating families are asked to write a short narrative on their family to accompany their pictures in the final exhibition. Participating families will also receive an 8x10 image of their family from the photo shoot. A local exhibition of the images has been tentatively set for Fall 2007.

Spaces are limited to a first come first serve basis. The photo shoots will take place on Saturday March 24th in the Light Work studio, 316 Waverly Avenue, from 10am–6pm. RSVP is required.
Interested may contact Jackie Micieli at the LGBT Resource Center to sign up for at time slot, 443-3983, or jamiciel@syr.edu.
