Local Documentary Shows HIV/AIDS is "Not Over Yet"
 


The HIV/AIDS epidemic in Central New York is the focus of the locally-produced documentary, "Voices from the Edge: A Community Confronts HIV/ AIDS," which will premiere Thursday, May 17 at 7:00pm at the Palace Theater. National Student Conference
 


The 2007 National Student Conference will be held on June 26, 2007 in Washington, D.C. This exciting one-day event will feature remarks by leading politicians, activists, journalists, and policy experts; issue discussions; training sessions on communications, media, and other skills; networking opportunities; hands-on activism to take back to your campus; breakfast, lunch, and an evening reception.


Doctoral Student seeking Research Participants for LGBTQ study,
 


This study examines attitudes towards relationships and self-perceptions and is especially relevant for members of the LGBTQ community. The information gained from this study will be useful in informing treatment and addressing concerns within the LGBTQ population. There is no financial compensation for participation and participation is strictly anonymous and voluntary.


Coordinator for LGBT Student Involvement and Leadership, Washington University in St. Louis
 


The coordinator is responsible for identifying the academic, intellectual, social, cultural, recreational, educational and political needs of LGBT students as well as those of student communities. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, resume and list of at least three references through the Washington University in St. Louis Human Resources at hr.wustl.edu.
