"Transgender Recognition and the Problem of Violence," a Talk by Richard M. Juang Wednesday, April 11th - 5 PM - Kittredge Auditorium, HBC We will be holding a reception for Richard Juang HERE at the LGBT Resource Center at 3 PM the day of his talk (THIS coming Wednesday, April 11th). A national student-led action to protest discrimination, harassment and abuse ? the silencing ? faced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people and their allies comes to Syracuse for a campus protest and speak out! Bowl-a-thon to benefit ACR-LGBTQ Youth Center
 


The LGBTQ Youth Center at AIDS Community Resources is sponsoring a Bowl-a-thon on Sat. April 14th at 11:30am at "Bowl Mor Lanes" (201 Highland Ave, East Syracuse). Teams consist of 5 people and each team must raise $125 minimum to participate.

New LGBT Position at New York University
 


ew LGBT Position at New York University, Program Administrator, LGBT Student Services This position will be responsible for developing and implementing programming, services, resources, and special events designed to attract, retain, involve and assist students in a multicultural environment with their intellectual, cultural, social and personal endeavors. The position will provide services for the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered student populations and act as their advocate. A bachelor?s degree is required with 3 years relevant experience working with students, developing programs, and providing advisement or an equivalent combination. Master's degree is preferred.


Gay Mens Health Summit
 


Gay Mens Health Summit, Task Force is conducting a Nation-wide survey Hart Research (www.hartresearch.com is an independent research organization that maintains the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality. All of your responses will remain entirely anonymous and confidential; information from this study will only be shared with the Task Force in aggregate, so that every person's individual responses will be kept anonymous.
