Nominations for the 2007 Foundation Awards
|
|
|
In 2003, the Syracuse University Foundation
Awards were established to recognize individuals,
regardless of their sexual orientation or gender
identity, whose personal or professional lives have
positively affected the LGBT community in a
significant way. Please help us identify individuals,
LGBT and straight, who have made a contribution to
the LGBT community at Syracuse University or in the
greater Syracuse community. We look for those
whose work, while fundamentally important, often
goes unnoticed beyond their peers, family, and co-
workers. The nominees may work professionally or
informally towards a more positive environment for
the LGBT community and all of us.
The categories available for nomination include
undergraduate student, graduate student, faculty
member, staff member, and SU department/
organization. The awards will be presented at the 5th
Annual Rainbow Banquet on Saturday, April 21,
2007 in the Regency Ballroom of the Sheraton
Syracuse University Hotel. The nomination deadline
is April 2, 2007.
